Nunu has just opened on West Queen West serving up traditional Ethiopian food in a modern setting.
The restaurant’s owner Nunu just happens to be the sister of Aster (of the famous Addis Abba just two doors down).
The menu offers a variety of affordable Ethiopian dishes (meat and vegetarian) ranging from $9 – $17, with specials on weekends including lamb and steak. Look out for home made trifle which adheres to the recipe of Nunu grandmother.
Nunu will operate on an ambitious schedule of seven days a week from 11am – 1am.
